It’s with great sadness we mourn the loss of Charles M. Williams, a proud member of “The Greatest Generation.” He was tough from a young age. His father died when he was still a child. At 17, he convinced his mother to give the necessary permission for him to enlist in the Navy. And like so many World War II veterans, he didn’t talk much about his time in the Pacific. When asked how his service changed him, he teared up. “It makes you old real fast,” he said. It was our distinct pleasure to honor an American Hero – Charles M. Williams, U.S. Navy, Retired at the 2020 NEOPAT Gala. NEOPAT is honored to do our part to carry on Mr. William’s legacy by establishing The Charles M. Williams Patriotism Scholarship for a Medina High School student entering the military. At his family’s request, memorial contributions in Mr. William’s honor can be made to NEOPAT
