Patriot Partner: Vitamix’s Vita-Vets

For members of Vita-Vets, Vitamix’s Veterans Employee Resource Group, service extends beyond the workplace. In July 2026, the group celebrated the opening of a Little Free Library at Brentwood Park in Olmsted Township, directly across from Vitamix headquarters—bringing books, learning, and community connection to its neighbors.

Inspired by the military community’s commitment to service, the project grew from one Vita-Vets member’s idea into a collaborative effort supported by employees, company leadership, and community partners. Its guiding concept is simple: “Take a book. Share a book.”

The library offers residents, families, and park visitors free access to books while encouraging literacy, lifelong learning, and connections between neighbors. It also stands as a lasting reminder that service can take many forms, including small, thoughtful actions that strengthen a community.

NEOPAT is proud to spotlight Vitamix’s Vita-Vets and its commitment to carrying the spirit of military service into everyday life. Through this project, the group has created a welcoming resource that invites others to learn, share, and give back.
