Honoring Local Disabled Veterans: A Fun-Filled Day at Cleveland Browns Stadium

Cleveland (May, 2024)

In celebration of Military Appreciation Month, CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), the Cleveland Browns, and the Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT) teamed up to host a special event for local disabled Veterans. This family-friendly day at Cleveland Browns Stadium featured a lively cornhole tournament and various adaptive recreational activities.

May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to honor those who have served our country, both past and present. This event brought together disabled Veterans from Northeast Ohio, offering them a chance to engage in fun competitions and connect with fellow Veterans and their families.

Greg Renkas, Executive Director of NEOPAT, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We’re thankful for the generosity and support of organizations like CrossCountry Mortgage and the Cleveland Browns who make opportunities like this possible. This event was a special opportunity for local Veterans to come together and have some fun.”

It was a day filled with camaraderie, community, and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our Veterans.
