NEOPAT kept its promise to honor and remember our fallen heroes during Memorial Day weekend with a display of 150 American flags at Cleveland Metroparks Edgewater Park. This heartfelt tribute served as a powerful reminder of the ultimate sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women.
The flags, arranged along the pathways of Edgewater Park, created a visual tribute that drew visitors from across Northeast Ohio.
In addition to the flag display, NEOPAT released a Memorial Day video message, urging everyone to take a moment to remember the men and women who gave their lives for our freedoms. Greg Renkas, NEOPAT Executive Director, emphasized the importance of this tribute:
“The display and video are meant to serve as a reminder to all in Northeast Ohio to take a moment this weekend to remember the ultimate sacrifice of those men and women who gave their lives so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today. The video also pays tribute to the Charles Kirby Wilcox Honorees, recognized annually since NEOPAT’s inception in 2011. They are among the 113 young men and women from Northeast Ohio who have lost their lives serving our country since 9/11. They have fallen but are never forgotten.”
