Clean And Spruce Up” of the LCpl Brad Squires Memorial
MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio (September 11, 2022)
The overcast weather on September 11, Patriots Day and the 21st Anniversary of the attacks of 911, did not deter the student veterans at Baldwin Wallace University (BWU) from conducting a fall ”clean and spruce up” of the LCpl Brad Squires Memorial in Middleburg Heights. LCpl Squires, a Berea-Midpark H.S. graduate, was killed in the line of duty in Iraq in 2006. Joining the team was Brad’s mom, Donna Squires. For two years now the Baldwin Wallace student veterans, under the direction of Mike Brown, BWU’s Manager of Veteran and Military Services, have been assisting to maintain the memorial. NEOPAT was proud to support the building of the memorial and continues to support the BWU student veterans with scholarship support and the Squires family.
