Rootstown (September, 2024)
On Sunday, September 29, despite the overcast skies and steady rain, more than 75 people gathered at the Dusty Armadillo for a Sunday Funday like no other. Hosted in partnership with 94.9 WQMX and the Dusty Armadillo, the first annual BBQMX event was a celebration of community, food, and music—all in support of NEOPAT.
The event featured BBQ from Wagler Farms, offering guests a selection of smoked meats and classic sides. Along with the fantastic food, attendees enjoyed live performances, a raffle prize drawing and 50/50 drawing.
By the end of the day, more than $3,400 had been raised to support NEOPAT’s mission to honor and support local veterans and their families. The funds will help continue important work that provides resources and programs for the men and women who have bravely served our country.
