On Sunday, June 14, NEOPAT in partnership with CrossCountry Mortgage, welcomed nearly 150 military family members to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for our annual Military Family Fun Day.
The event provided military families from across Northeast Ohio with an opportunity to enjoy a day together, connect with one another, and experience one of the region’s premier attractions at no cost. Families spent the day exploring the zoo, visiting exhibits, enjoying lunch, and creating memories with fellow service members, veterans, and military families.
This year’s event was especially meaningful as it took place on Flag Day. Throughout the zoo, families proudly wore red, white, and blue and displayed apparel representing their military branches and service affiliations. The patriotic spirit was on full display as attendees celebrated both their families and their connection to military service.
Military Family Fun Day is part of NEOPAT’s ongoing commitment to strengthening military families through meaningful community engagement opportunities. While military service often requires sacrifices from the entire family, events like these provide a chance for families to reconnect, relax, and enjoy quality time together in a supportive environment.
