Cleveland (September, 2024)
On September 11th, over 200 participants gathered at Edgewater Park for the annual 9/11 Heroes Run, sponsored by NEOPAT. Against the backdrop of a beautiful evening by Lake Erie and a flag display by Flags for Honor, runners, walkers, and ruckers came together to honor those lost on 9/11 and the brave men and women who have served since.
The 9/11 Heroes Run, organized by the Travis Manion Foundation, is more than a race—it’s an opportunity for our community to remember the sacrifices made on that tragic day and in the years that followed. NEOPAT proudly sponsors this event, as it reflects our mission to support veterans, military families, and those who continue to serve and protect our freedoms. As the participants moved through the course, there was a shared sense of reflection and unity. This wasn’t just about crossing the finish line, but about coming together to honor the fallen and keep their memory alive.
The Travis Manion Foundation’s focus on empowering veterans and families of the fallen aligns with NEOPAT’s commitment to honoring the legacy of those who gave so much for our country. Named after 1st Lt. Travis Manion, who was killed in action in Iraq, the foundation works nationwide to develop character and leadership in future generations, ensuring that the values of service and sacrifice are carried forward.
NEOPAT’s involvement in the 9/11 Heroes Run is part of our ongoing effort to create spaces for remembrance, reflection, and community support. Events like this provide a meaningful way to ensure that we never forget the sacrifices made on 9/11 and by our veterans. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s event at Edgewater Park, whether you ran, walked, rucked, or came to show your support. Your presence helps keep the memory of our heroes alive and ensures their legacy endures. As we look ahead, NEOPAT remains committed to supporting veterans, military families, and those who serve our nation. Together, we honor the past and strengthen our future.
