NEOPAT was proud to host our latest Veteran & Military Employee Resource Group (ERG) Lunch & Learn on March 31 at KeyBank, bringing together a powerful network of organizations committed to supporting those who serve. We are extremely grateful for the KeyBank Veterans Group for hosting us and all the attendees.
Shelly Gorton of KeyBank provided an overview on the activities they are doing for veterans and military colleagues at KeyBank. Rick DeChant also provided an update on the upcoming USS Cleveland Commissioning, an exciting and historic moment for our region this May. Attendees shared insights into recruitment and retention strategies, internal programming, community partnerships, and how they are recognizing and supporting service members and their families within their workplaces.
We were honored to welcome representatives from a diverse group of organizations, including Cuyahoga Community College, Dupont, FocusCFO, Frontline to Field, GNCO Incorporated, Greater Cleveland RTA, KeyBank, Lubrizol, Materion, National Marine Corps Business Network, New York Life, Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, Park Place, Parker Hannifin, Swagelok, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, The Sherwin-Williams Company, University Hospitals, and Western Reserve Rowing Association. Their collective presence reflects the strength and breadth of support for veterans and military families across Northeast Ohio.
The discussion sparked a wealth of ideas, from new engagement strategies to potential collaborations between organizations. The energy in the room reinforced the value of bringing these groups together—not just to share what’s working, but to inspire what’s next.
