NEOPAT Veteran & Military Resource Group Lunch & Learn

NEOPAT Veteran & Military Resource Group Lunch & Learn

Cleveland (October, 2024)

On October 23rd, NEOPAT hosted its Veteran & Military Resource Group Lunch & Learn at the historic Hildebrandt Provisions Company. The event brought together representatives from veteran and military employee resource groups (ERGs) across Northeast Ohio to foster collaboration, share best practices, and explore how companies can support veterans and military families both internally and within the broader community.

During the event, attendees shared innovative strategies their companies are implementing to engage with veteran and military employees. From specialized mentorship programs to initiatives promoting mental health and career development, companies highlighted how they’re creating inclusive environments where veterans can thrive. Attendees also discussed outreach efforts, including volunteer programs and partnerships with local veteran organizations, to extend their impact beyond the workplace.

The roundtable discussions also focused on the future. Participants collaborated on plans for upcoming events and initiatives, particularly surrounding Veterans Day 2024 and next year engagements. Companies represented included – Avery Dennison, Baldwin-Wallace University, CBIZ, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Clinic, Eaton Corp, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), FirstEnergy, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, Green and Gold Congressional Aide Program, J.W. Didado, KeyBank, Lincoln Electric, MGM Northfield Park, Moen – Fortune Brand Innovations, Park Place Technologies, Progressive Insurance, RGP, Sgt. Clean Car Wash, Swagelok, Veteran Talent Advisors and Weinberg Capital Group.

NEOPAT’s role as a connector was a key highlight of the event. With deep ties to the Northeast Ohio veteran community, NEOPAT offered to bridge connections between the ERGs and local veteran organizations, helping to amplify the impact of their initiatives. By fostering these partnerships, NEOPAT is committed to creating a stronger, more connected network of support for veterans and military families throughout the region.

This Lunch & Learn served as a powerful example of the shared commitment to honoring and supporting those who have served our nation, and it laid the foundation for even greater impact in the years ahead.
