Veteran outpatients attending appointments at the Ravenna VA Community Outreach Center now have a place to “lock’em and leave’em” when it comes to their bikes.
Thanks to The Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT) , veterans who ride their bikes to the facility now have a new bike rack to park their bikes. According to Jennifer Mawby, VA Administrator at the VA Ravenna facility, over the past months, more and more health conscious veterans have been riding bikes to their appointments. However there was no bike rack. Bikes were being left on the lawn and propped up against the building. The new rack made possible by NEOPAT holds 10 bikes for safe parking and lock up.
