Cleveland (March 22, 2023)
NEOPAT recently partnered with United Way of Greater Cleveland and their Help2Veterans program to provide supplies and gift cards to veterans in need at their local offices on Wednesday, March 22nd. Our Executive Director, Rick DeChant, explained NEOPAT’s mission, thanked veterans for their service and everyone shared stories about their time in the military and being a veteran in today’s world.
“NEOPAT has been a great asset to us providing direct financial assistance to veterans, they do a lot of extensive work throughout the veteran community. It’s definitely a privilege to work with them and serve veterans at the same time, which for me, being an army veteran definitely has a very personal appeal.” – Alex Cohen, Help2Veterans Coordinator.
United Way shared their 2-1-1 First Call for Help service where veterans and individuals in need are able to dial in and directly speak with a representative who works with them to identify the best resources for their health and human service needs. If you or anyone needs services, call 2-1-1, as they are a great program who has been helping our community and veterans for years.
