Veterans Gather for Annual Pheasant Hunt

Approximately 40 veterans gathered at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy in Orwell, Ohio, on September 11 for the annual Veterans Pheasant Hunt. NEOPAT was honored to support the outing alongside other key sponsors.

The day opened with a parachute jump by the Cleveland Parachute Club, which brought in the military service flags, followed by the American flag. NEOPAT Board Chair Cameron Miele and board member Colonel Chris Banweg, USMC, offered remarks recognizing the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

With hunting dogs provided by the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, veterans representing the Navy SEALs, the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, the Air Force, Marine Corps Special Operations, and the Coast Guard headed into the field. The group came together afterward for a picnic lunch.
