Last week, NEOPAT had the privilege of welcoming 14 veterans from the VA for a peaceful and memorable day of fly fishing at Rockwell Springs Trout Club. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the club, veterans enjoyed a fun day of fishing, good conversation, and the camaraderie that comes from being outdoors together.
Activities like fly fishing can provide a welcome break and an opportunity to unwind, connect, and simply enjoy the day. The afternoon also included lunch and plenty of fish stories about “the big one that got away!”
This special experience is made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor who has faithfully sponsored this event for a number of years, providing meaningful opportunities for veterans to reconnect, recharge, and enjoy time together.
