On September 11th, NEOPAT was honored to join firefighters, police officers, first
responders, military members, and representatives from the Guardians, Cavaliers, and
Browns at Progressive Field for the Cleveland 3-Team Alliance 9/11 Stair Climb.
Together, we climbed the equivalent of 110 floors—the height of the World Trade Center
towers—in memory of the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day, including 343 firefighters, 60
police officers, and 8 EMTs who made the ultimate sacrifice while rushing to save
others.
The atmosphere was powerful. Each step taken was a tribute to the courage, resilience,
and selflessness shown on that tragic day. Surrounded by heroes from across our
community and inspired by the unity of Cleveland’s professional sports teams, the climb
served as a reminder that we are stronger when we stand together in remembrance and
resolve.
For NEOPAT, whose mission is to support veterans and military families across
Northeast Ohio, being part of this event was deeply meaningful. The stair climb
connected the legacy of 9/11 with our ongoing commitment to honor those who serve
and protect, both at home and abroad.
We are grateful to the Cleveland 3-Team Alliance for bringing our community together in
this powerful act of remembrance. May we never forget the lives lost on 9/11, the
sacrifices of our first responders and service members, and the enduring responsibility
we all share to keep their memory alive.
