NEOPAT Announces Team Expansion with Director of Philanthropy

We are pleased to announce Shawna Whitlock has joined the NEOPAT team as Director of Philanthropy. A seasoned development professional, Shawna will be managing our fundraising efforts and ensuring we are in a position to Keep the Promise in perpetuity to our veterans and military families in their time of need. Please join us in welcoming Shawna to our team!

A seasoned “nonprofit advocate” with over 20 years of experience, Shawna has worked in all aspects of development activities for both large and small organizations throughout Greater Cleveland including Case Western Reserve University and Notre Dame College, as well as The Cleveland Clinic.

“We are thrilled to have Shawna join us at NEOPAT and round out our marketing and fundraising team initiatives,” said Greg Renkas, NEOPAT Executive Director. “Shawna’s track record speaks for itself and will allow us to ensure we are in the position to have funds available in perpetuity so we may continue to Keep the Promise to our local veterans and military families in their time of need.”

Passionate about making a difference for mission-driven organizations, Shawna leads by example and creates visionary goals using a highly collaborative approach. She builds authentic relationships with prospects, donors, and colleagues to cultivate and steward beneficial outcomes for everyone involved.

Informational breakout sessions were held about health care, tax benefits and financial wellness, fraud scams targeting veterans, employment and workforce development, and legislative issues pending in the Ohio House and Senate impacting veterans.
