It was a very Happy 247th birthday for the United States Marines in Cleveland as they gathered to celebrate the Corps on November 5th at Cleveland’s Renaissance Hotel. NEOPAT was proud to be a sponsor of the evening which was filled with honor and ceremony. Major Brian Hubert, commanding officer of Marine Recruiting Station, oversaw the festivities which included the reading of the official birthday proclamation from the Commandant of the Corps, GEN David Berger. The reading was followed by the cutting of the ceremonial birthday cake. Honored guest speaker was retired USMC Chief Warrant Officer Anthony Viggiani, a decorated Marine from Cleveland. Some 250 Marines, family members, and guests were in attendance to wish the Corps a Happy 247th.
