The conversation and interaction were engaging and informative and the barbeque was just as good as Akron-area veteran business owners gathered May 16 for an evening of “Boots, Business and Barbeque.”
The event, co-sponsored by NEOPAT and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for Veterans (OCCFV) was designed to introduce both organizations to area veteran entrepreneurs as a resources for their businesses. Some 25 veteran entrepreneurs were on hand to exchange information and best practices as well as to learn about key veteran business legislation activities in which both NEOPAT and the OCCFV are engaged.
