Akron, Ohio (February 23, 2023)
NEOPAT Executive Director, Rick DeChant, was the featured presenter at the February 23 meeting of the Akron World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Wars Roundtable. DeChant presented the 50 veterans in attendance with an overview of NEOPAT and used his experience as a Coast Guard Combat Veteran to present “The Coast Guard Goes To War”, a subject that many in attendance were not familiar with. The World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Wars Roundtable is a non-profit dedicated to recording and preserving the wartime biographies of regional veterans in these conflicts.
