Massillon (December 18, 2023)
The weather was exceptionally clam and beautiful on December 18th as over 300 Massillon area veterans, military families and residents gathered at Massillon’s Calvary Cemetery. All were in attendance to participate in the annual Wreaths Across America event. There are approximately 1,300 veterans interned at Calvary. Participants were there to place holiday wreaths on veteran graves as a symbol of respect and remembrance during the holidays. NEOPAT was again honored to be a part of this annual event. NEOPAT Senior Advisor Rick DeChant was on hand to represent NEOPAT as well as the U.S. Coast Guard during the opening ceremonies which recognize the sacrifice of all six branches of the service. DeChant is a retired Coast Guard Commander.
