On Thursday, October 23rd, NEOPAT had the pleasure of joining veterans, service members, and team members from the University Hospitals Veterans Employee Resource Group for their Stars & Strikes event at The Corner Alley. It was a night with good times to spare—bringing together those who have served our nation for connection, camaraderie, and some friendly competition outside the workplace.
From the first warm-up throw to the last frame, the energy was high and the enthusiasm even higher. Lanes were filled with laughter, high-fives, and just enough competitive fire to keep things interesting—because who doesn’t love chasing that perfect STRIKE or avoiding the dreaded gutter ball? A few bowlers even rolled performances that could only be described as “veteran-level precision.”
More than just knocking down pins, the evening created space for meaningful conversations and shared experiences. Veterans and military members swapped stories from their time in service, reflected on transitioning to civilian careers, and highlighted ways we’re continuing to serve our community today. It was a reminder that, whether on duty or at the lanes, teamwork, resilience, and support are what truly keep us rolling forward.
Huge thanks to the University Hospitals Veteran ERG for inviting NEOPAT to be part of this special night. Events like these strengthen the bonds that make our Northeast Ohio veteran community so special—and they prove that when we come together, everyone wins… no need for a spare!
We look forward to more opportunities to show up, support one another, and continue building a community that’s right up our alley. Until next time—keep aiming for strikes and celebrating every frame together!
