This holiday season, NEOPAT was proud to bring comfort and meaningful support to military families across Northeast Ohio through the combined efforts of our Adopt a Military Family Program, the NEOPAT Cares Campaign, and generous community partners like Sgt. Clean Car Wash. Together, these initiatives helped ensure that our military families felt supported, appreciated, and remembered during a time that can be especially challenging.
Adopt a Military Family: Making the Holidays Brighter
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and community, NEOPAT’s Adopt a Military Family Program assisted more than 35 military families and 93 children this holiday season. Sponsors stepped up in a big way to provide gifts, necessities, and heartfelt support, helping to lift stress and bring holiday cheer to families who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. The impact went beyond gifts—it was about connection, gratitude, and reminding families they are not alone.
NEOPAT Cares Campaign: Community in Action
The NEOPAT Cares Campaign expanded that impact even further. Through a combination of the Sgt. Clean Car Wash Toy Drive and NEOPAT’s Amazon Wish List, hundreds of toys were collected and distributed to military units, service centers, and family holiday parties. In many cases, soldiers were able to “shop” for their children, creating a sense of normalcy and dignity during the holidays.
These efforts reached families and service members in Medina, Brookpark, Ravenna, Austintown, Coshocton, and North Canton, ensuring support was felt throughout the region.
Thank You, Sgt. Clean Car Wash
A huge thank you goes to Sgt. Clean Car Wash for their outstanding partnership and generosity. Toys were collected at 14 locations from Veterans Day through December 8, thanks to the support of their team members and customers. In addition, Sgt. Clean’s general managers came together to purchase more than $3,000 in toys, further amplifying the impact. All toys were distributed throughout December to regional military service centers, Veterans Service Commissions, and partner organizations in need.
Operation Holiday Cheer: A New Tradition
This year also marked the launch of Operation Holiday Cheer, a new initiative for 2025. NEOPAT partnered with the K–2 students at Strausser Elementary School in Jackson, whose classes collected stockings and candy for military families. These thoughtful donations were delivered to regional military facilities and the Akron Veterans Service Commission for holiday family parties—proof that even our youngest community members can make a big difference.
A Season of Gratitude
From adopted families to toy drives and student-led giving, this holiday season showed what’s possible when a community comes together with a shared purpose. NEOPAT is grateful to every sponsor, partner, volunteer, business, and supporter who helped make these programs a success. Because of you, military families across Northeast Ohio experienced a little more joy, relief, and holiday magic.
Together, we are truly keeping the promise to those who serve. 🇺🇸🎁
