On Saturday, November 15th, the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted their annual Salute to Service game against the Memphis Grizzlies—a powerful evening dedicated to honoring the veterans, active-duty service members, and military families who make extraordinary sacrifices for our nation. From the moment fans entered Rocket Mortgage Field House, the arena was filled with gratitude. Service members representing every branch of the Armed Forces were recognized throughout the night, including local veterans, military families, ROTC cadets, and community partners committed to supporting those who serve.
The Cavs delivered a stirring tribute during pregame ceremonies, featuring on-court recognitions and heartfelt moments that highlighted the service and resilience of Northeast Ohio’s military community. Their presence was a reminder of the deep-rooted connection between the team, its fans, and the men and women who defend our freedoms.
NEOPAT was proud to take part in this special evening, raising essential funds to support veterans and military families across the region. A special thank-you goes to the brothers of Kappa Sigma Fraternity from Kent State University, who volunteered their time to help sell 50/50 raffle tickets throughout the arena. Their energy and dedication helped make the night a success and directly contributed to NEOPAT’s mission.
The Salute to Service game once again showcased the strength of our community and our enduring commitment to those who have worn the uniform. It was more than a game—it was a celebration of service, sacrifice, and gratitude.
