On Tuesday, June 17th, NEOPAT hosted a powerful and inspiring Lunch & Learn at MGM Northfield Park, bringing together representatives from veteran and military employee resource groups (ERGs), along with companies and individuals eager to learn how to better support service members, veterans, and military families in the workplace and across Northeast Ohio.
This event served as a platform for connection, education, and collaboration. Attendees heard from two dynamic speakers: Tara Colopy, CEO of The Third Estimate shared the story of their impactful Think Third Patriot Project, which uplifts veterans and their families through a roofing home improvement opportunity. Jaymes Poling, co-creator of Modern Warrior Live, delivered a powerful keynote performance that blended storytelling and music to explore the transition from military to civilian life, sparking thoughtful discussion on mental health and reintegration.
Beyond the presentations, attendees engaged in meaningful table discussions focused on resource group development, collaboration across industries, and strategies to more deeply engage veterans within the workplace. The networking and dialogue that followed demonstrated a collective commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive community for those who have served.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the organizations that participated in this Lunch & Learn and continue to drive meaningful change.
