This past May, NEOPAT teamed up with WQMX and the Akron RubberDucks to honor those who serve during Military Appreciation Month—and what a night it was at Canal Park!
Fans came out to show their support, with a portion of ticket sales benefiting NEOPAT’s mission to serve military members and their families right here in Northeast Ohio. The evening kicked off with a special moment as NEOPAT’s Senior Advisor Emeritus and retired U.S. Coast Guard Commander Rick DeChant took the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The Marine Corps JROTC set the tone for the night with a powerful presentation of the colors, reminding everyone of the true meaning behind the celebration.
